Vanda Tiwari, A 41-Year-Old Housewife Lost 10kg, In Less Than 60 Days

Vanda never had a chance to focus on her life as a homemaker and caregiver for her family for over 20 years. As a result, she struggles with obesity. She decided to change her way of life only after she realised she wanted to focus on herself and how this lifestyle imbalance was affecting her health. She was able to lose more than 10 kg in just 60 days with the help and support of the WFH team and the motivation of her family. Keep on reading to know more.

The Reason That Motivates Weight Loss

I had no intention of losing weight until one of my kids, as a joke, asked how I would look if I was fit and healthy. It was late at night, and that statement made me wonder. I had always told my children that I needed to find a way to balance my work and personal life, but I had never been able to do so.

My family had always advised me to take my life more seriously, and their concerns were amplified this time. At the time, they suggested a variety of diet and exercise plans for me. After much research, I discovered WFH.

What Is The Most Difficult Part About Being Overweight?

Everything in excess is bad, I've always told my kids; why live on the extremes when we can live a well-balanced life? Excess optimism that isn't willing to change yourself even a little bit, as I was doing before deciding to lose weight, is also harmful. Because I was a little overweight, even as a homemaker I had to make a lot of sacrifices. So I decided to press the reset button and start living my life to the fullest.

Diet Followed

The app has already created an entire diet chart based on your goals; all you have to do is follow. The WFH Dietician provided me with a detailed meal plan that included macronutrients as well as micronutrients.

My breakfast: Around 11 a.m., I ate a bowl of mixed fruit. My lunch: This was and continues to be my first proper meal every day. I eat two paneer/vegetable parathas every day (no ghee). My dinner consisted of one bowl of daal/sabzi, one chapati, and a large bowl of salad.

Workout Followed to Achieve The Goal

WFH assigns you all of the workouts that are planned and detailed, as well as extra education information about how a specific exercise works on which part of the body, making those workouts more enjoyable. Jumping, squats, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) were my go-to moves in my workout routines. I alternate between cardio and weight training days. There is a boatload of WFH videos available that explain what exercises to do.

What Difficulties Were You Facing During The Transformation Journey?

The lowest point was when I was unable to keep up with the routine due to a family function. But instead of giving up, I remember calling one of the WFH coaches via the 24*365 support system and blubbering to him about how I didn't know how I was going to handle it. He encouraged and supported me at the time, and he planned the entire routine around the function and what I can eat when I am out.

How Do You Stay Motivated?

I talked to other people like me on WFH to stay motivated. To keep track of my progress, I surrounded myself with only fitness equipment. My entire family was extremely happy. I also started doing a morning workout with my kids, which sparked my entire journey. After that, the results kept me going, and no one ever had to remind me to take care of my health again.

What Lifestyle Changes Did You Make?

I altered my eating and sleeping habits. I've started focusing more on my health and fitness, and I must say that I'm loving my new routine and life in comparison to what I used to do, which was mostly housework and watching TV.

Lessons Learnt From The Transformation

Results don't happen overnight; good things take time and a lot of effort. I'd like to thank the WFH team and the entire group for their assistance in reaching my goal. And would appreciate their generosity and support of the WFH team.
