The reason that Motivates weight loss

Being unhealthy and gaining weight was always nagging at the back of my mind. But, due to my numerous life responsibilities and household chores, I never gave it my full attention. Because of the pressures of work, family, and never-ending late nights, I developed an unhealthy relationship with my body.

Though I occasionally started exercising but was unable to maintain it, I also did not pay much attention to my diet or overall health until I realized a change had to be made. Then, when the pandemic strikes, I have had more time to focus on my health and body. I self-educated about nutrition over time and learned what and how much to eat to achieve the results I desired.

And while searching for those I learned about WFH, I read detailed features of the WFH programme, as well as how many people are getting results from it. The main reason I enrolled myself was the app's incredibly affordable prices. Finding personal trainers, dieticians, and nutritionists all under one roof was like hitting the jackpot.

What is the most difficult part about being overweight?

Being unhealthy is never a happy situation, and when you start gaining weight, it only gets worse. My joints were becoming weak as a result of the excess fat, and I was constantly suffering from back and knee pains as a result. Even my doctor advised me to lose weight because it can lead to a variety of serious diseases.

Starting Phase and procedure of transformation journey

Every fitness journey begins with understanding how and what type of body you have. As a result, you can devise a strategy for achieving the tragic goal. To get to know your body, you must measure your BMI and TDEE.

The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a method to calculate body mass based on height, weight, and age. And TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure), in which you estimate how many calories you burn per day while taking your physical activity into account throughout the day. With this information, you will be able to determine how much extra fat you have, how much energy you require on a daily basis, and how to count your calories.

Everything sounds very complicated, doesn't it? WFH, on the other hand, includes all of the features and calculators. All you have to do is enter some basic information about yourself, and it will provide you with all of the data that is applicable to your goal. Everything from daily caloric intake to fat-burning workouts is covered.

Diet followed

My meals were planned to be calorie deficient because my goal was to lose extra fat and weight. I had some food allergies, but when I told the WFH dietician and nutritionist about them, they planned every meal around my preferences and needs.

My meal plan was easy to follow. Protein + veggies + whole grains = dinner is served. . WFH dieticians recommend that you eat half of your plate of fruits and vegetables, a quarter of your plate of protein, and the remaining quarter of your plate of whole grains. I can claim that by incorporating more proteins and vegetables into my diet, I was able to naturally reduce the number of calories consumed. It makes sense: protein, nutrient-dense produce, and fibre-rich whole grains all fill you up and keep you full for longer.

Macros and quantified diet

Every weight loss diet is very specific about calorie intake per day and food measurement. The best part about WFH is that after you register, you will receive ingredients measuring spoons as a free gift. All you have to do is measure the listed foods according to the instructions and spoon numbers provided, and you won't have to worry about calculating or Google research for food calories.

Workout Followed to achieve the goal

Walking into a gym and working out terrified me when I weighed 78kg. So I began a home workout from WFH, which I was already comfortable with. I progressed from 30-minute walks to two-hour walks, lacing up five or six times per week.

Working out with WFH live video is a lot of easy and fun ways to do exercise; all of the workouts were well explained, and the trainers assist and motivate you to complete your workout in a fun and efficient manner.

What difficulties were you facing during the transformation journey?

Throughout the journey, there were many weak moments. There was a time when I went to a cousin's party and wasn't sure if I'd be able to stick to my diet. But, at the time, WFH 24*365 support helped me and planned the diet in such a way that I could enjoy the event while also not disrupting the progress.

How do you stay motivated?

"I remember feeling defeated after reaching the first plateau, but the very supportive team of WFH coaches and trainers kept reminding me that "you have to push through and keep putting in the effort for your plan to work. You must not be discouraged." Which was immensely helpful to me and kept me motivated to continue moving forward.

What lifestyle changes did you make?

I used to do late-night snacking, but now I opt for fruit instead of sugary treats. It's sweet and satisfying, and it's high in vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that your body requires, such as fibre.

Lessons learnt from the transformation

Eating nourishing foods that make you feel energised, getting some exercise every day, sleeping at least eight hours a night, and finding ways to reduce stress are all factors in weight loss. This method allows you to achieve your goal without feeling deprived or unhappy.
