How To Reach The Statue Of Unity and Where is the Statue of Unity located?

Statue of Unity located in Gujarat, INDIA near Rajpipla, which is 25 kilometers away, is the closest city to the Statue of Unity. Other nearby major cities include Vadodara (90 kilometers), Surat (150 kilometers), and Ahmedabad (200 km).


The nearest major railway stations and airports are in Ahmedabad and Vadodara to reach the statue of unity. Following that, the tourists mainly embark on a road trip through various villages and towns, beginning with Nadiad, Godhra, Vadodara, Dhavoi, Rajpipla, and Bharuch.


You can also take a bus to Kevadia, which is the closest bus stop to the statue, and then take a local auto from there to the statue. The Statue of Unity is the easiest to enter from Vadodara, which has both railway stations and an airport. Bharuch also has a railway station.

What is the best time to visit the Statue of Unity?


Except on Mondays, the Statue of Unity is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week. Since Gujarat is a hot place, the best time to visit the Statue of Unity is from October to March. The weather conditions are perfect for a trip.


Statue of unity tickets price:



A ticket is divided into two categories:

  • one for children aged 3 to 15, and another for those aged 16 and up. The ticket prices for children are RS 200 and the statue of unity cost per person is RS 350.


  • The ticket includes the access of Observation Deck, Valley of Flowers, Memorial, SOU site, Audio Visual, Gallery, Museum, and Sardar Sarovar Dam. It is gets open at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.


  • Statue of Unity entry ticket cost per person is RS 120 and RS 60 for children. It is closed to visitors on Mondays. So make a visit from Tuesday to Sunday. The bus ticket costs RS 30, but you do not have to pay if you have an entry ticket or a deck ticket.


Statue of Unity Ticket Booking:

  • You may book a ticket with a debit or credit card, through net banking, or in person. You would pay 1% + GST on the total sum if you use a credit card.(Book Online)



A Selfie Point And Helicopter Ride Cost on Statue of Unity:
